This summer I had the special privilege of presenting NILD certification to three Hungarian educational therapists, Aniko Gergely, Erika Imre and Gabi Orosz. Agnes Jordanidisz has translated the NILD training into Hungarian and has done an excellent job in preparing these ladies to serve students in Budapest. Congratulations to each of you!

Catching up!
This has been quite a summer! We just returned from a family reunion in Montana. If you have not been to Glacier National Park it is a MUST SEE!
I had such fun teaching the Level lll online course this summer and the participants said they did too (yes, really!) Here is a photo of our group at Regent.

FIE FUN
Wow, this summer has been a wonderful mixture of work and play! I have told you about the play...now for the work! Kristina nd I taught a wonderful group of engaged learners in Studio City, CA this month. They were a combination of NILD and AET (Association of Educational Therapists) who loved the Feuerstien Instrumental Enrichment, Level l course. We dug deeply into cognitive functions and all left the week with a sense of being transformed! :) What a joy to see the two groups blend so beautifully and to teach such capable learners. Well done, gals. Watch this spot for photos!

It was a great vacation but it is always good to come home again. As you can see we had some adventures! The Pigeon River was up even before the torrential rains hit Tennessee. The rapids were classed 3 and 4. We loved it!
Riding through the Smokies was another great adventure. Ralph's horse took a stumble on the slippery rocks. Thankfully he was fine and mine kept his feet! Hope you enjoy these photos!

Going South Again
Boy, am I ready for a vacation! My dear husband, Ralph, and I are taking off in our Honda Accord to Gatlinburg, TN for a week in the mountains. We love these little getaways and plan for them regularly. He is retired and I am not which makes life interesting at times. We cherish alone time together even after 45 years of marriage. I know I am so blessed to have such a man! He just turned 70 yesterday and he is the best looking 70 year old man I know! Photos of our trip to follow!

Conference and Book News
What a great time we had in Orlando! I loved the enthusiasm of the group and the great presentations by Marshall Duke. Notice the very intelligent looking folks who were newly certified as PCET's. Our last conference of the season warmed all our hearts even though the weather was a bit cooler than we hoped. Thanks to all of you who came and contributed to the experience through your presence and your gifts to NILD. We are inching back!
Do call for a copy of my book that has just come out...I would love to share it with the NILD family ...
Blessings and love,
Kathy

Getting out of the snow and cold will be such fun. I hope to see many of you there. We have an exciting line up of speakers and I will be giving you a peek at my new book due out March 29th!
